It's Rocky's and there isn't anything that's even close to second.

As for In 'N Out, mark me down for the "I don't get it" side. I'd rather have a Wendy's burger. There are a lot of times where I don't like something but I can see why somebody else might. With In 'N Out, it completely mystifies me - - it's cafeteria quality beef!

So I went to The Corner in the east village last night and had an excellent burger. Seasoned and cooked perfectly and great service too. The beers were on the pricey side ($6)...that's my only complaint.

Nessy Burgers in North County - almost Riverside County - off the 15 at the 76 interchange in Fallbrook. It's a trailer on the side of the freeway, and it's ALWAYS packed. Big, THICK burgers. Yum.

Grew up in OB, Hodads are pretty good, too.

George Burgers in San Marcos near Palomar College is good (strangely enough, so is their Gyros)

Seau's is good, and you can't beat the atmosphere. LOVED that guy in Bolt gear!

.......and any time you can find a Boll Weevil, try their burgers, they're part of SD's history!

Hell yeah I agree. Crazee Burger gets my nod for best in San Diego (yeah, I lived next to Rocky's for a year).

Ok now as an out of towner, I'm from Leavenworth, right outside of KC, I come to San Diego once or twice a year to visit family that live in Jamul and I always stop by the In-n-Out right off the highway in Lemon Grove religiously right after I land and usually on the way to the airport. By the way if I skip the departure burger, I make it a point to stop at Point Loma Seafoods. Neways real quick question how are things down south of the border?? We always use to go Puerto Nuevo to go get some lobster, but when I was there in Nov, we did'nt go. My cousins say they are acting the fool too much down in Mexico. Things really that bad?? Nobody going down to TJ??? Peace, Im out.

I love Islands! They have the best burgers. Also Red Robin's are really good, too. Plus, Red Robin has bottomless steak fries!

Rocky's uses the same beef. You're fooling yourself if you think other wise.
