Could I get some definitive, consensus very good Chinese restaurants in the Kearna Mesa area as well as the downtown Hillcrest locale?

A Taste of China is very good.

They have a great buffet.

It's in Clairemont, near Balboa Ave and Genesee Ave, in the parking lot in front of Target.

It is in a row of stores with Blockbuster Video on one end, and TOC at the other end.

YELP is another good place to get restaurant reviews by area.

UPDATE: Just found out they removed the Buffet. Darn!!! It used to be the best part of going there. Now it's a Sushi Bar.

^^Good list, mini_cute! Dumpling Inn is great and I've been dying to get back to Little Sheep again.

In National City, Royal Mandarin and Golden Chopsticks are worth checking out. Of course, the restaurants at 99 Ranch in KM should satisfy the palette.
