Default San Diego now the 26th least affordable for homes

I came across this article in the UT today:

County climbs the home-affordability ladder

In 2004, San Diego was the #1 least affordable for the home market. Now it has dropped down to 26th. It doesn't come as a surprise, seeing how much the prices have dropped. Even though just about everywhere is seeing their home prices drop, San Diego has been at a faster rate and passing many metro areas.

Don't forget that back in 2004, prices in SD were rising faster and passing other metros like crazy, so it's only natural that our prices would fall faster than most.
