Hey everyone, I just got a job in Poway and need to start really looking for apartments. Where would be a good place to live to be able to commute to Poway 4-5 times a week? I originally (and still) really want to move to Ocean Beach, Hillcrest, or North Park but when I maped it out it says it'll take a little over a half an hour from OB and a little under a half an hour from Hillcrest which is a bit of a drive. I still might end up in one of those locations regardless of the drive but I wanted a second opinion I guess! Are there any other places closer to Poway that are like OB, Hillcrest or North Park? Any info would be really helpful!

There is nothing like OB, Hillcrest, or North Park remotely near Poway. However I would rec either Hillcrest or North Park since you just need to get on 15 north to get to Poway. Should take you about 30 minutes with traffic... I did North Park-> Poway for a couple of years and it wasn't terrible. Worst part is actually the surface streets in Poway. OB will add another 15-30 minutes which probably would be lousy, especially if you are up on the east side of Poway by Community Road.
