I have Cox High Speed Internet and Basic Cable. It runs me $59.93 per month. I don't have a landline, only a cell with T-Mobile, and that runs me $42.79 per month. If you only use your landline 2x per month, you can get a prepaid cell, or if you want to keep your landline, there are options that are less $$, but not with Cox. Check out the AT&T website, you can get a landline with limited use for quite a bit less, and if you do the order online, you don't have to pay the order fee.

My Sis has a Cox bundle for about 75 bucks, something you have isn't adding up. Call them and work it out.

Get rid of the landlline and expanded basic cable. I was in a Walmart store one day where Cox had a table set up to try to get new customers. I let them "try" to sell me a package to see what they would come up with. Their package deal was twice as much as I pay now. If you don't use the landline much, ditch it and get a prepaid cell phone for calls. You can cut down your cable bill by getting rid of the expanded basic, it's way too high.

Ok Thank you.

What is cox extended cable service? Does anyuone have a dish service? If so, do you like it?

Pros/Cons?

My Mom moved in with us (Early Alzheimer's) and her cox tv does not work! I think it is the box, as she can watch dvd movies from her barbie DVD Player...

That sounds like a lot for non-HD cable. You might look at AT&T Uverse if it's available in your area. If the cable isn't working on a TV, then you should call and get them to come over and get it working.
