Moving to SD last August, looking for suggestions
So my girlfriend and I are moving to SD at the end of August so she can go to UCSD. I have a few questions.
1) Since she will be going to UCSD, we are looking for apartments close to the campus. Anyone know of any good apartment locations around there? Something near the bus line (only have 1 car at the moment).
2) How are the IT jobs right now? I'm currently in the midst of getting a Networking certification to go with a B.A. (of a non technical major), and I'm a bit worried of looking for work. Has anyone recently gone into this field? How long will it take to find a job?
3) How much is everyone spending for the weekly necessities? Utilities, food, cable, etc...
Anything else I should know?
