Default Best SD's for special ed services

I am considering moving to the San Diego area, in part to get better serices and school for my dd who has autism (she is 8 years old). I've done some research and found that Poway is supposed to be good. Anyone with any experiences with specific schools and/or districts, esp. North County? How progressive are they esp. when it comes to inclusion and education for high-functioning kids?

I'll consider any area except La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe (too $$$$!). Thanks

I know virtually nothing about this, but my sister did tell me that Madison Middle school has an autism program. It's in Oceanside in the Shadowridge area, but it's one of the best middle schools in Vista Unified with an API of 852. Perhaps one of the feeder elementary schools has a program, too?
