This is an interesting thread. I never thought of men as a group, such as San Diego guys, vs. Sacramento guys etc. I think of them as people with all the possible diversity the range of humanity allows. I think about what captures my interest in a person and develop relationships with people of like minds, liberal politics, intelligent, preferably a reader, loves music and pays attention to song lyrics, loves art, nature and animals. I've never rated men by letters or numbers just looked at them as unique individuals with no need to compare them to others. Surely there are men who view women this way as well, as fellow human beings, not commodities. I would like to think most men do, but not being a man, maybe I am wrong in that hope.
