Hi I have seen some of the threads below on this topic and still havent concluded.
I am a sophmore from this fall at Miracosta community college with a GPA of 3.4 while working full time....getting my GE done.

Now I still have to go to career assessment, but in general direction i want an economic/international business degree.
Ive heard that SDSU's program is great but the schools reputation isnt that great compared to UCSD.
For some getting into UCSD seems easier for some reason...but I dont know if the programs they have are for me.

Now my friend who is also interested in somewhat the same major as me..decided to go to USD mainly because he doesnt like the SDSU scene of just frat.

I am debating which has the best program...and what companies look at....
I which UCSD had SDSU's business program...with its amazing rep...
are there any UC's that are mediocre level that have business programs?

UCSD is not a business school and as such lacks the alumni network that is a critical component for success.

Bad reputation or not, SDSU's program is the best program in the area.

Undergrad business programs do not generally have a good reputation either. It is usually better to major in finance or accounting or another more practical discipline and then get an MBA after some years of work.
