I assure you, no recent college graduates are buying homes in Boston, either.

Fine, add Atlanta, then Charlotte. And who could forget Houston.

What are you trying to say? That recent college grads are making $100,000 in the cities you mentioned and are only offered $50,000 here?

i grew up in DFW and am fleeing North County Coastal due to Mexican illegal gangs that are terrorizing me and my family. DFW is filled with so many honest hard working people.

If I were insulated from these criminals they would still be on the street and in the stores. It's hard to imagine in the past 10 years how bad it's really gotten with slothful, angry, bullies who are hard core criminals and everyone seems to just let it go.

The border is so wide open and all these bad bad people come and go and they do crime 24/7 and if they think that you know what they are up to they start these intimidation rituals and the non criminals just look the other way. That is the hardest part. So ulitimately the bad reproduce at an exponential rate and the weak wimps just hand over the nicest part of the country to them.

What do you think?

I thought north San Diego county was statistically pretty safe. Wouldn't crimes committed by illegal aliens show up in the statistics, regardless of of the documentation status of the perpetrator?

So, if you are leaving north SD county, where are you fleeing to (that presumably has lower crime)?

Dallas doesn't have problems with crimes and illegal aliens?

"In Dallas, over 70% of all newborns at Parkland Hospital are born to illegal aliens without insurance!"

I am having no problems with criminals or gangs. My neighborhood is peaceful. I move about from home to work to errands with no problems or concerns about safety. Granted my lifestyle is such that I am less likely to run in to undesirable activity. I am not out partying at all hours. I am not out partying at all. When people talk about all the gangs and crimes and fear of crime in San Diego, I simply can not identify with it. And I even live south of University which many claim to be an area they would not reside in.

Actually, we did have scuzzy neighbors once and that was in the 80's in San Marcos. Most of the people in the neighborhood were just fine, but right next door to us was a heavily disfunctional family whose bullying kids picked on my little ones, even my 2 year old daughter trying to play dolls in the yard. So I have had one experience in my many years in San Diego County with scuzzy people. Maybe that's another reason that San Marcos is the one area in the county that I lived in and would have no interest in going back to.

I think your experience, if it really is as you describe it, is very individualized. I have no idea what you are doing to attract the attention of these gangs (dealing drugs, etc.), but suffice to say, what you are describing is not the norm. People like you tend to grossly overstate problems with crime and immigration in order to justify their own life experiences. Of course, I'm also dying to know what area of coastal north county you are fleeing.
