Default Legitimate Moving Companies in the San Diego area?

Hello everyone. In a few months when the semester ends at City College, I will be transfering to a school that is pretty much clear across the country and I was wondering if there are any good moving companies in the area that I could trust to handle all of my belongings? I know that U-Haul is a obvious option, but I' am a little weary of using that company. I didn't have such a great experience with them in Springdale, AR when I was in the process of making my move out here to San Diego a few years back.

There is a small chance that I might get a car before I leave the area, but I' am pretty much counting on not having one, so any info. or help would be greatly appreciated!!

We used North American to move out here about 5 years ago: Movers | Moving Services | Moving Companies | North American Van Lines
They did a great job.

North American is a full-service moving company. They can do a full pack and move if you like.

Hey, thanks! I checked them out and they seem like a good company to move with.

I used to contribute quite a bit in this highly valuable consumer awareness site after being scammed once. Make sure to take a look at their "Black List" on scam companies to avoid.... There's LOT of scamming in the moving industry than people realize...

We used a United Van Lines agent (Von Paris if anyone is interested) to move from Maryland to San Diego last June. Their local partners are Sullivan Moving & Storage.

We did a whole lot of research before we hired them and were satisfied with their reviews. We were very happy with our move.
