Where in the West Coast is it feasible to get a job?
I read that it's near impossible to get a job in SD. So where on the West Coast is it feasible to get a job (if any)?

It's possible to get a job anywhere, in any economy. Whether or not it's possible for *you* to get a job, depends on who you are.
Who are you? What do you do? What skills or experience do you have?

i don't have any job experiences but i was thinking of becoming a lineman (or some other skilled trades) in SD.
if i went there without any housing, would a local homeless shelter receive me for a few months until I can get the job?

With the economy the way it is right now, I doubt it. Even if you can get into St. Vincent de Paul, they just don't "house" you. You have to jump through their hoops to stay there. Stay where you are until the economy changes. Read all the other posts about moving here without a job.

I was thinking of becoming president. Should I move to DC?
No where on the west coast (or any coast) will it be feasible for you to get a job. There are tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of experienced workers in California that lost their jobs as a consequence of the recent economic situation.
Without connections or an amazing background you probably wont ever be looked at.

Why would anyone think about moving anywhere if their only option for living, even temp was a homeless shelter? There are many who have no choice but to live in the shelters, but to move, with no skill, no trade and think about a homeless shelter is a little far out.
I am not sure if you should be taken seriously or are just posting to see what people have to say?
