Default Rancho San Diego safety

Hi. I am thinking of taking my teen to the library book club event at the Rancho San Diego Library. This takes place at 5.00pm in the evening. We know nothing about this area, we don't live there and we are still fairly recent to San Diego, but it is the one County Library book club that works with our busy schedule. I just would like to know how safe the area is. I would be driving my teen and then I would hang out at the library itself with my youngest child until around 6.15-6.30pm. I am asuming there is parking available at the library.

Any input would be appreciated.

I'm not a fan of that library but the area is perfectly safe and there's enough parking.

Now you have piqued my curiosity. What is it that you don't like about this particular library? I'd really like to know since I am planning on going there on a regular basis. My oldest would be doing the teen book club and my youngest and I will be using the children's section.

Oh no, there's nothing wrong with the library. It's a fine facility, fairly large etc. I don't know much about the children's section.

But just for personal reasons this library isn't my favorite place... i don't know... it's hard to explain so nevermind! For your purposes and for you I'm sure it will be just fine.

Don't mind me. haha
