Default Looking for an apartment that will take a Rhodesian Ridgeback

My husband and I may be moving from around the Philly area to the San Diego area by February due to a transfer in his job. We are having a hard time trying to find a place that will take a large dog (around 90+lbs). We are also not sure if we want a short or long term lease, as we have a house to sell back here and would eventually like to buy out there, if it is at all feasible. Any suggestions on rental places would be most appreciated!

When we lived in the UTC area, 3 of our neighbors had Rhodesians. Check out Las Flores, Mirada, and Archstone on Charmant Drive. I know they definitely accept them and have short leases available.
