San Diego residents. San Diego's climate is often claimed as the finest in these United States.

If you were given a choice where you could IMPORT Honolulu's climate (and warm ocean water) to San Diego, would you go for it????

PROS:
-Minimal Coastal Fog
-Warm Ocean Water
-Near PERFECT winters
-Paradise on the mainland

CONS:
-More humidity
-More Rain

If I wanted tropical weather, I'd live in Florida

Yes, I love Honolulu's weather and warm water, although summer can be a bit warm with the trade winds it's fine. But I would need AC, which I have never had here.

I like the fog. I wish we had more of it. However, on the pro-Honolulu side we could certainly use more rain, and warmer ocean water would be nice. However, none of those pluses for Honolulu outweigh my dislike of heat and humidity. I spent three summers in the South. I never need to do that again.

Go San Diego!

Oh God no.
Honolulu is too hot, too humid, the trade winds and sudden thunderstorms would drive me crazy. Hawaii: A nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

As much as a gripe about SD and it's arid weather. My answer to that is a big Hell No!!! Only the rain would be a plus. Warmer water means more humidity (warmer water, more evaporation). As sass said, if I wanted tropical crap I'd live in Florida or somewhere. It's already too warm here for me as it is.

ugh, I'm sure everyone remembers how bad it was a few months ago with the heat and humidity. That was tame and rare compared to honolulu and it was unbearable.
I'd vote no.
