I don't know about people sharing income. I do have a few former coworkers who now work at Ashford, and they seem fairly happy with the environment, one of which started fairly recently. They seem to be trying to grow quickly.

I know a few people who work there as Enrollment Counselors. From what they've told me, it's a call center environment, and you're basically telemarketing and getting "warm" leads. It's all about how many people you sign up to enroll per week. If your numbers are good, you jump up in pay, but I think they can drop you in pay if your numbers are bad. And from what I've heard, you can't transfer out of the call floor for the first 6 months.

Starting pay is $40k. I know this because a headhunter wanted me to interview with them, but I decided not to, as I didn't feel the work environment was right for me.
