Default Applying for CNA jobs in San Diego - any good resources?

Hello,

I am helping someone apply to CNA jobs; thus far, I am using caljobs, but wondering what are some good resources, specifically for San Diego to do part-time CNA work? Are there nursing staff company that can help her?

It depends on what type of CNA Job your are looking for? Are you a CNA that is just a CNA and is not going to RN or LVN School and just going to look for a CNA nursing home, cook and clean type job........or are you a Clinical CNA with a specialty, like acute care CNA, ICU CNA?
Most of the jobs for persons only certified in CNA are in SNFs and it is apply on site. Pay is 8.00 to 10.00 an hour. For a CNA with critical care hospital experience, Med Surg, ED or CATH LAB go to specific hospitals websites and apply. Craigslist has some jobs, mostly staffing agencies that like more than just CNA. There are alot of Nursing students here that work as CNA while in LVN or RN school.
Someone that is only a CNA and not pursuing a higher Level of certification, will need to speak spanish, lots of spanish speakers here. One thing to keep in mind the county is very large, part time CNA gigs sometimes ask for car insurance and want to LEACH off of the abundance of cheap labor, in the end after driving to the work place it is just a waste of time.
