Texas is very nice in some places like Austin and some parts in Houston..but i live in a small city all the way at the bottom of Texas and i just have never liked it hear! nothing to do...and the people suck, you cant depend on anyone and no1 takes anything serious hear(music,skateboarding,acting..exc..) so i guess that's one of the reasons i want to move to California

So you were trying to get someone to move with you to SD when you were 16....weren't you in school? Sadly, there's a desparation in your post and you come across to me as a "runaway", even though you are now of age. I'd hate to see you end up living on the streets. Finding work out here right now is very, very difficult and you would need to have money saved in order to survive until you could get on your feet. I understand it's probably better than a small town in South Texas, but hopefully you can plan for your move and be prepared because it can be tough out here to make it. You mention music, skateboarding, acting...those things are fun but generally don't put food on the table or pay the rent, especially in San Diego.

yeah it started off as a teenage dream at around 17yrs old, friends talking about "running away"to California and to this day i still want to be in California.
i have family in some parts of cal and i know they would let me live with them but i don't want to be a bother to them....so that's why i want someone to go with to make it easier (apt,bills,food...exc)

well, why don't you post in the austin forum and see if anyone there is game? you might meet others who you are compatible with who are already planning to make the move, too.

have you visited sd yet?
come check it out for a few days and get a feel for the area, maybe?

SD sounds like a great option for you-better than LA for you,IMO.
You should do it-plan it.
