Check out all the hospital websites. That will tell you if they're hiring or not.

Check out Scripps-Mercy system. They are ranked as one of the best companies to work for, with good benefits. The source link is somewhere on CNN that I saw.

Unfortunately SD is an expensive place to reside in, if you want to purchase a home. Also the school system is not that great. But if you are single, and want to get out of the snow, it is a great place so say "been there-done that."

There are many jobs here in San Diego for RN's. You have 5 different hospitals here that are always looking for a good nurse and, NO SNOW down here, you have to go to the mountains to see snow in the winter. We have it all here, snow in the mountains, the ocean all around you at the coast and, if you want to live inland, uggh, you can have warmer days in the summer. You also don't have to have 4 sets of clothes for winter, spring summer and fall. Been there and done that. I am from Georgia. I love San Diego and will probably die here some day. It's beautiful.
