Just wondering, we are staying at the Inn at Sunset Cliffs which is listed as being in Point Loma. I was wondering how safe of an area this is, will we be able to walk around at night or will we be confined to our hotel.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

You'll be fine, the area you'll be in is upscale, safe and quiet. You're close enough (but luckily, far enough) from the main drag of Ocean Beach (Newport Ave), which is lined with restaurants and shops. Hippies, surfers, burnouts, lots of colorful characters in this part of the city. Go to Hodad's for the burgers!!

Best of all, you're above Sunset Cliffs which is one of the best places to watch the sunset every day.
