My husband is Navy and we are looking to relocate to San Diego, can anyone tell me which schools have the best programs for autistic children (she is 5). We are hoping for better things for our entire family there.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My wife is a teacher in San Diego Unified and she is currently in a master's program focusing on Autism. I will talk to her tonight and see what she has to say.

We are in the Navy also moving to the San Diego area this September. My child is 5 and I was wondering what programs and schools are available in this area.
Thank you for any information

I just moved to San Diego and my autistic 7 year old boy is attending a public school but the class is not intended to be for autism. Please help me get information about school that offered the structure he needs.

I recently learned from an acquaintance that was visiting from New York (he has an autistic son), that San Diego is home to a well known autism center. I know little about the subject, except that the office is just down the street from my house. Perhaps someone there can provide more info.

I've tried to post the link here but for some reason it won't work. Please search the internet for the Autism Research Institute. Hope this helps.
