Is it me or it seems that Jan. was warmer and drier than Feb. Is this Normal?

I think we've had an unusual past year of weather. Last summer was cool and cloudy until late August, and the rains started in September, much earlier than they usually do.

A warm spell during January isn't unusual. And then another stretch of what passes for winter in SoCal generally follows. So, I'm thinking, this is normal.

I wasn't here in September, because I happened to be working back east. I agree that rain in September is unusual. Maybe that's why this year's wildfire season was thankfully uneventful?

it was hotter but still nothing out of the ordinary. the weather heats up in march/april.

according to weather.com the high for saturday was 52 degrees, thats too cold for me. i wonder how it is surfing in that weather
