I took a flight in my fathers airplane from Barstow to San Diego this week, and I was sure in in for a big surprise...

San Diego is beautiful! Here a collection of pictures while on my trip...

I took most if not all of the pictures around Little Italy and Downtown.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. But at least balance your idyllic photos with the real grit. Go to North Park, Paradise Valley, some parts of Chula Vista, El Cajon, La Mesa, and west-most Escondido and take some snaps too.

All the people were laxing at the beach, or at work in North San Diego. After all the majority of downtown today is residential, and the variety of important businesses down there are dwindling as we speak.

Nice photo's though!

But yeah, go to the "real" San Diego, and you will find much more interesting places to take pics

America's Finest City always seemed a little too conceited to me, so I'm not crazy about the name although I do think we have the finest weather and some of the most beautiful places in the world here. You took beautiful photos of my fair city--but Downtown is only a tiny part of San Diego--and not a distinctive one at that. Look up images for La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Balboa Park and you will see some of the locations that make this city so very special.
