What I find "disgusting" is the knee-jerk response to call all of our mayors, city councils, governor, etc. as "egos" just because you do not agree with the majority of your city's elected officials! As others have pointed out, people seem to view all politicians as bums but continue to vote them into office at every election.

The people of California are speaking to Arizona. We have nothing to fear from any backlash over a state that even wouldn't recognize Martin Luther King until they lost the Super Bowl because of their racism. They are not the kind of people who are in control of California. Arizona is on the receiving end. They do not call the shots for California. If California had not reacted as is has and continues to do, the backlash would be against us.
Yah... California is nearly bankrupt, and did it without any help from Arizona.

And I believe "rapists" should be "re-labeled" "aggressive lovers" so they can pay taxes and vote.

You missed the point about IQ. The point about IQ is that it's just an example of an arbitrary criterion that anyone can put up to restrict immigration to the US, just as you used "overpopulation" as your reason for such restriction, or as the US government used race as was done with the Chinese Exclusion Act.
So you think the US can just keep growing and growing indefinitely?

Maybe, maybe not. But since I didn't use the term "sustainable population", the duty to define exactly what this means falls on him who did.

There are any number of clear violations of the fourth amendment going on everyday in this country. Sobriety checkpoints, for one, being arrested for a DUI merely sitting in the parking lot of a bar, for two.

Guilty until proven innocent? I'm not blind to the number of prisoners being released from prison, every year, being cleared by DNA evidence. And those pressured into plea bargain agreements, albeit innocent?
