Default Net salary calculation

Hi --

Sorry if this has been asked already.

I'm from Argentina and I'm analyzing a job offer for a position in San Mateo California.
The thing is, I want to get an estimate of how much my net salary would be based on the raw salary ( 80800 yearly).
FYI, I am head of household and my wife is pregnant (delivering on Jan 2011).

Thanks in advance.

If your employer offers a good health insurance plan and a 401(k) or stock/profit sharing plan, you can expect about 30% worth of deductions.

Around 5,250 after tax a month. Everyone's situation is different though. I have based this on 3 fed allowances and 2 state allowances, one income only.
I think after the baby is born you might get benefits (no expert).

That's kind of high. I'd think more around $4500 per month.

Well, thank you all for your answers.
Do you think I will be able to make it with that budget? I would like to save up at least 1500 monthly

Of course, it all depends on how you spend.
