Foster City Area - public school fees/stipends (San Mateo, Burlingame: daycare, middle schools)

Hi all,

Not sure if this is a daft question or not but do the elementary schools and middle schools in Foster City charge a standard fee for after school activities? Do you need to budget for it? Our relocation agent had kids in Burlingame and she mentioned a stipend that she pays (public school, not private) and I need to know if this would apply to us.

Any comments appreciated - and if there's anything else you think I should know about California school coming from the UK) I'd be happy to hear it.

After school care costs money, correct. It's all dependent on where you enroll them for school, prices would vary daycare to daycare.

All public school after school childcare and all after school extracurricular activity programs have a fee. The amount will vary.
