It was 61 degrees when I woke up this morning at 6 am. Now, it's 9 am and we're up to 73.

It's sort of a crazy mindset that regardless of reality in that moment, they will live out their stereotype of the place.

Personally, I wear sweaters when it's cold, shorts when it's hot, but there are a lot of weird people out there!
Having lived both in the Bay Area and SD, I've noticed that too. People in SF gripe about how hot it is yet they're dressed like Santa Clause. In SD people gripe about how cold it is but are dressed like they're in Hawaii.

It's just the culture of the cities I guess.

It's supposed to cool down dramatically at the end of the week. In the Bay Area those cool downs are always dramatic and sudden.

Actually Gentoo,
One of the few things I like about this hot weather in the Bay Area is we finally get to see the hotness that people in the Bay Area have hidden underneath layers of clothes most of the time.

Suffice it to say that I saw a ton of fit and toned folks yesterday...LOL

The sun finally came out in the Sunset district and there was no morning fog That's a record!
It is currently 90 degrees in the sunset. Does that qualify as at least somewhat hot? Or is this something to complain about too?

Not complaining! Just dreading the cold fog that will roll in tomorrow or so and then its back to normal again

Cripes it is HOT out in downtown SF, definitely warmer than this time yesterday. Now there's a line out the door of the frozen yogurt place down the block.

My apartment in Rockridge was pretty warm last night because it faces west and gets a lot of sun in the late afternoon, should be lovely tonight...ugh.

Taking a cold bath or shower helps lower the body temperature if you don't have a/c though.

Argh, accuweather and sfgate are listing San Francisco as 99F, and now BART is having major delays due to "heat issues."
