I'm working at Apple so my commute will be take the Apple bus everyday. I won't need a car so I don't care too much about parking but because I'll be walking everywhere, I want to be close to the things I need to be close to. I've heard that richmond/sunset are nice but are kinda far from everything?

I prefer Richmond over Sunset. However, INNER Sunset near UCSF is a nice area. Sunset is old, boring, foggy, looks dirty, and has a lot of FOBS from Asia (fresh off the boat). I probably hear Chinese more than English in this area. Before anyone starts getting angry, I'm half Asian. Sunset is safe, but it's just boring and is a hassle to get to most parts of San Francisco. Richmond has a lot more going on and has easy access to other parts of the city.
