Hi,
I'm looking to move to Petaluma in June and am looking at apartments right now. I'm trying to find a studio, 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment with no more than $1300 in rent. Do you have any advise / experience with specific properties in the area? I don't really want anything too dingy...

Thanks so much!!!

701 Sixth Street (Apartment), Petaluma, CA, 94952 - Real Estate - CENTURY 21 Bundesen

509 4th Street, Petaluma, CA, 94952 - Real Estate - CENTURY 21 Bundesen

Both listings are in my neighborhood, which is great. the first one is around the corner from Wickersham Park and the second listing faces Wickersham park which is a quiet green space with lots of trees, it's pretty great.

The first is in your price range the second is just out of it, but i posted both to show you the variety within a relatively small price range difference.

For Petaluma aim for West Petaluma lettered and numbered streets, to begin with, that is the easiest way to explain it.

Oh, and if by 'dingy' you mean old, then West Petaluma is not really for you, it is mostly historic old homes and thus sometimes "dingy" to some. If you are looking for something brand new, then check Azure or Enclave in East Petaluma.

thanks bella, that second one looks great except it really is out of my range. But gives me a good idea of what to expect. Thanks for the insight into the letters and numbers By dingy I meant just raggedy and really needing a lot of work. Old is fine as long as it's been well kept and updated as necessary...

thanks so much again!

Hi Mlle,

Have you looked at the waterfront apartments? They have studios for $1350 and look pretty nice. I have read mixed reviews about the noise, but they definitely are not dingy!
