Still some great deals in Pacifica. Some nice homes under 500K.

Didn't ask me why I feel like I do.
Didn't ask my experience with Pacifica .... just launched in on the attack.

THAT'S PACIFICA!

It's a town you either love or hate.
It's different when you live there Vs. "visit"

There's a ton of narrow-minded, insecure, narcissistic blow hards.
LOTS of alcoholism and people on Social Service. (Not that that makes them bad ... it's just a marker that there's a lot of mental problems there ... and they have kids!)

Good luck!

I can imagine how depressing that beach must be, given that Oakland doesn't have a beach... :-P Are you thinking of Alameda Beach? Cuz that kinda sucks too. We always head either to Stinson or Santa Cruz, because they're south facing and much less foggy and cold than crap places like Pacifica.

pacifica rocks. i get to work in SF in less than 20 minutes by car. BART is a 10 minute drive away. the air is clean. the views are gorgeous. whoever said move to oakland instead is crazy. sure, oakland has better weather and better access to BART but pacifica has fresh air, no gang culture, no crack, no shootings, very little crime, and decent public schools. oakland? most areas are nowhere near as safe. pacifica is a solidly middle class or upper middle class town. the streets are completely safe 24/7.
