My husband and I have been living in NYC for the past four years and are now looking to move to SF.

We have lived in the West Village and Cobble Hill, Brooklyn I'm curious which neighborhoods provide similar traits. We love historic areas and spending our time off strolling to cute restaurants and shops. We are late twenties without children.

Looking to spend around $2300 for a one bed to rent.

Thank you in advance for any tips!

What are West Village and Cobble Hill like? It's difficult to make a comparison to a SF neighborhood. Just guessing, but you would probably like the Marina district or North Beach.

Go to North Beach - Little Italy - San Francisco and San Francisco's Marina Green and the Presidio Park for info on my last posting.

Thanks for responding.

The West Village and Cobble Hill are very charming (brownstone tree lined streets) with fashionable shops and foodie restaurants.
