Hey Everyone,

I just got engaged, and my Fiancee and I are looking for places in the City. We are curious where the safest, most fun, and most young people live in the city. We are young 20's, looking for rents of a one bedroom to be $2,000/month or lower. Any suggestions of great neighborhoods or districts to move to?

See if you can find anything in Nob Hill, Union Square, North Beach, Telegraph Hill, Russian Hill

The Marina/Cow Hollow area is where most of the young folks tend to live.

Noe Valley, Nob Hill, Lower Pacific Heights, Cole Valley, the Inner Sunset, the Inner Richmond, the area near Dolores Park and Duboce Park, North Beach, Hayes Valley. I'd start with any of these areas.

Always keep in mind where you work and what the best way to get to work is, some parts of the city are lousy for getting to other areas, and some bus and Muni Metro lines really suck.
