He also got angry one time and questioned why Chinese people in San Francisco needed their own New Year's celebration...

Nah, that was just a joke. But it's just a commentary on how some people try to make a political debate out of harmless, fun events like the parade in Oakland that don't actually exclude anyone...

Glad you cleared that up!

By the way, having lived in Japan and just outside Washington, D.C., I love the cherry blossom festivals.

For the record, I asked a simple question without commentary. Others began a debate.

But of course, there are those who pray it will fail because they basically hate anything American.

Again, why do you think that is? Why do you think there are hispanic, black, gay, etc. congressional caucuses? I'll be waiting for an answer.

Don't want to keep you waiting.

Victimhood, political correctness and entitlement.

Happy?

Nice try, but no.

You wrote flame bait that you wanted to turn into an off-topic debate about why haven't any white people made a white cowboy parade. I don't know the answer to that or why there isn't a white caucus for that matter, why don't you tell me? Nobody's stopping them other than their own guilt. If they actually believed they needed one, they would have made one by now. What, do you actually believe that the black caucus was worried about public perception or was received with open arms? No, they did it anyway because they thought there was an actual need to. When white congressmen and women can think of and elaborate on an actual reason to form one, they'll do it because of that reason and not because of fear of backlash.

Thank you for proving what I already suspected. You have no idea why the black caucus was formed.

Of course you're right. I just worked in state politics for the better part of 20 years, as did my wife; both of us for different agencies. We couldn't possibly have a clue.

And that means anything because...? You've yet to show proof you know anything whatsoever about why the black caucus was formed.
