apparently he was shot in the back. news to me also is the fact that on a normal day, vallejo has only six officers on shift. i used to live in vallejo, without pulling up census data, i would assume there to be roughly 140,000 to 150,000 people living in that city. do the math. vallejo went bankrupt not too long ago also, which probably laid off some police/fire personell. sucks all the way around jack.

Difficult to overestimate the significance of families whose neglect and carelessness results in kids who are resigned to believing that prison will not only be their second home throughout their lives, but that it is glamorous and a favorable life choice. Seen way to much of parents, many on drugs, who cheer this sort of existence on for their kids.
