Looking for some suggestions on what to do in the city for New Year's Eve. I've got a couple guests coming in from out of the country. Something fun/interesting/enjoyable ....

Get dressed up in throw away clothes from Old Navy, pour on cologne / perfume (and if female, cake on the eye shadow), DRIVE to attend the big bash on the Embarcadero, suck down too many overpriced drinks, get drunk and obnoxious, end up in the slammer for using a wall as a toilet. /sarc

The last time I was awake at midnight, we were anchored in Clipper Cove between TI and Yerba Buena Island on Y2K. Figured if the civilized world did end, we sail out the gate and turn left.

Stay at home, enjoy your friends. Heck, it's just another trip around the Sun.

Riding Bart when it Hits New Years is something you should do at least once in your life, it can get pretty crazy.

Yep - new album and tour...been playing a lot of shows lately. Hawaiian New Year's at GAMH this year (had to cancel the NYE Honolulu show and move it here). Les has also been making wine under the label "Claypool Cellars" for a few years now, and just opened up the "Claypool Cellars Tasting Room" in Sepastopol.
