Hello,

I am planning to join online course of MS in Taxation from GGU - SFO. As I am an international student, I am little confused about the learning system here.
Can anyone explain me what is C1,C2,C3 here? & What basis I can select any one of them for a particular subject.

Awaiting your fast revert as need to enroll for the class. Also let me know if anyone is currently doing that course.

Thanks,

In general ClassSubject1, ClassSubject2 and ClassSubject3 indicates a sequence. It depends on the school if it's okay to take them out of order or what's required to start them.

It's best to contact the folks at GGU. I went to the law school down the road and did the tax specialty but have no clue how GGU structures their tax courses. It's the job of counselors at GGU to help you figure out what you need to take.

I advise you to contact them first thing tomorrow, since you say you need to enroll. Good luck.

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt response. But GGU ppl are not answering / explaining properly. They just say C means Cyber campus. They assume that we must know everything & should not ask many questions. How can an International student know about study system in another country??
Can you pls try to get more info from someone you know who can tell us abt or who did any of d online courses from GGU, as I have a deadline for d admission in Spring term.

Thanks again,

Well, that seems very straightforward. "C" designates online classes, so that they know who is an online student and who isn't. Probably best not to freak out about C and just pick classes that you need to get started.

Also, I don't know anyone who went to GGU.

It's their JOB to explain things to you. If they weren't clear, go back and ask more questions.

Unless you have no other choice, I would highly recommend San Jose State's MS in Taxation. it is a night class with a majority of working tax professionals and accounting majors. Also, San Jose is accredited which to my knowledge, GGU is not.

Its not hard to get into San Jose State either and the degree is highly lucrative.
