Yeah if you enjoy sitting next to a vagrant that just soiled himself.

Interesting experience, never had that. It was usually only someone mumbling to themselves at the back of the bus.

Yeah, but this is supposed to be "sunny" California.

And, yes, I have also lived in NYC for many years.

But I don't mind the rain, whereas, you do, and would fit in better living in the desert.

I've ridden the buses in SF, the east bay, Seattle and San Diego. That's just public transportation dude. Not a uniquely Seattle problem.

SAN DIEGO, CA 68% annual
SAN FRANCISCO C.O., CA 66% annual

Sunshine- Average Percent (%) Possible

I don't think two percent makes that big of a difference. Now both cities have areas sunnier or cloudier than others. However these numbers are based on parts of each city east of the coastal hills of both (SAN airport in SD and downtown for SF.) However should these measurements have taken place in cloudier western sections such as La Jolla and the Sunset district, the numbers would be lower. However apples to apples the difference isn't that huge.

I'm loving this rain. I like to start a fire in the fireplace, curl up with the hubby and a nice cup of hot chocolate and look out at the rain falling......

I never said it was a uniquely seattle problem dude. I also never said that public transit in seattle is 'pretty good' or a realistic alternative to driving like some people like to claim.

If you hate Seattle so much, why not just move back to California?

Just sharing my experience. We lived car free. Was terribly disappointed with Bay Area transit, coming from a person who rode transit daily in Seattle
