BTW, for what it's worth re: the "bright" factor, Salon had an interesting interview with Dr. Neil Warren, the founder of eHarmony, the online dating service. In the interview, Dr. Warren told the writer (a single woman) that the fact she was "bright", eliminated virtually 95% of her compatible online matches, right from the start!!

In this same vein, I read an article for a women's mag in which the writer tested one of the computer matchmaking services. It was a high-end service, the fee was something like $4000, which the magazine paid for, fortunately. Because after she filled out the application form, the head of the company looked at it and said, "I have no one for you". And she sputtered, "But you have a database of 50,000 men!" And the Co. chief said, It's your IQ. I don't have anyone in that range."

(And I'll tell you, folks; from what I've seen on e-Harmony, I'd say they fall in the same category as the company I just described. :s )
