If the Bay Area had LA's weather it would look like a mini LA. On hot days this is obvious.

The weather actually is'nt all that different for most of the Bay vs LA. It has nothing to do with the weather. It's mostly just SF that has foggy/windy/cold weather.

The simple fact is LA girls put more effort into their appearance. Upon visiting LA you will notice this immediately. I'd take a bitchy, good-looking girl over a bitchy, hippy/sloppy-dressed one anyday. The latter has absolutely no reason to be bitchy and demanding.

No one has 'reason' to be bitchy or demanding. These are unacceptable traits for anybody.

Not sure if you've been to shows, bars or clubs in SF, but there are hot women galore. But we'll give you some cred for observing the noted bitchiness and shallowness of much of the L.A. girlie scene - they came from somewhere else, where everybody in their little town hated them, and arrived with a mission to dig hard and deep for gold, residing in a much larger town where a whole lot more people hate them.

I'll take self-actuated confident women over spoiled schizo dolts trying to relive their teenage days anytime.

From my experience, generally speaking, "un-kept" girls are more bitchy than "kept" girls. My conclusion for this generalization... girls who don't care about how they look, don't care what other people think, thus they don't feel the need to be friendly because they don't care what people think of them lol. You can be ugly and 'kept" or beautiful and "un-kept".

Gentoo, can you elaborate? What would you say are the differences between the three? I was talking about SF proper, specifically, though.

Some of it has been mentioned on here before. Silicon Valley seems to have a higher male concentration due to the tech industry which as we know, tends to be male dominated. As far as SF and Oakland are concerned, it has more to do with attitude more than anything. Oakland as a rule tends to be more laid back and genuine overall. More of a live and let live mentality.

i love SF but it is a city of mad ambition, women like to look up to their man they like to date men way up on the food chain black or white, black guys would get some slack as to how high up the food chain they were.
either way, that always left me out.
it also left alota gals hanging with their girl friends on saturday night or home alone its called not settling. & in the city of mad ambition one does not settle, ever.

"Dating" and "bad" are two awfully broad terms.

yes,it's that bad. there are no women in SF. be careful, when you think you've seen a woman there's a 99% chance its actually a man wearing drag. and the remaining 1% that are actual women are all lesbians and/or hate men.

You again?

I'll repeat what I said last time you brought this up: you apparently spend all of your time in SF in a gay bar.
