Thanks, Well its looking like I will be working in downtown SF and my husband all over the bay area so its looking like Daly City will work well and the amenities are much better than other places. Don't want to love in SF downtown so lets hope we find something quickly.

Thanks for all the replies.

Daly City should work well for you. If you don't find anything there, you can also check Pacifica, San Bruno, Colma, and portions of South San Francisco as they are all within reasonable distance of BART transit. Daly City BART to SF downtown is a 25minute trip. Whenever I've worked in SF downtown I have always taken BART as it will safe a good bit on parking, gas and trip duration.

Indeed. All that moisture in the air keeps your skin nice and hydrated. Plus the lack of sun is easy on it too. (I should know - live in its kissing cousin The Sunset)

Its so hard to pick a place to live when you have no idea about the city! We were hell bent on the sunset but that just seems too far out of reach rent wise and you get more bank for your buck in Daly City. Also there seems to be more amenities here than the Sunset too.
King Drive is right on the SSF border, in the hills. It might have some airport noise. It's also quite foggy and windy. Nice area though.
