1) What are the days and times to absolutely avoid the Golden Gate Bridge because of traffic?

2) What days should we avoid a drive to Napa/Sonoma, assuming we leave around 9/10 AM?

3) Are there any parking facilities for the Presidio?

Thanks for your help!

The Golden Gate Bridge is pretty busy during the morning (!7am-9am) and evening (~3-7pm) commute hours during the week. It can also get pretty busy during the weekends too (pretty much all day if the weather is decent and people are out). Note that the drive coming into the city is generally slower since you have to pay a toll in that direction (no toll going toward Marin County).

Assuming that you are going to Napa/San Francisco from San Francisco, I don't think that you will have too much of an issue with traffic at that time, though you might catch some of the residual morning commute traffic if you are going closer to 9am instead of 10am.

Unless there is an event going on around the Presidio (like the Fleet Week Air Show), you shouldn't have any issues finding parking in the Presidio.
