I saw on House Hunters in SF that one of those was converted into two condo's. One was a 2 bedroom 2 bath that sold for 1 Million.

Mrs. Doubtfire was not filmed at the Painted Ladies, but at a house located on the corner of Broadway and Steiner.

Gotcha. I haven't seen that movie since it first came out, so my memories of it are a bit rusty.

P.S. I just looked at the Broadway/Steiner intersection on Google maps street view. What a beautiful corner that is! I must take a walk over there sometime and see it first-hand.

Any idea which B&Bs on AirBNB are his? Sounds like a possibility for guests who want to visit around the holidays.

You can get a nice place for $1.5 million. Look in the Inner Richmond to start. Some beautiful prewar 3-bedroom single family houses are in that price range. (I looked at one for $1.3 million that was more than adequate but I couldn't see spending that kind of money.) Pacific Heights will be way out of range.
