They DON'T get that in the Bay Area.
ah, so the South Bay and eastern East Bay don't count.

Cool to know that those places don't count and only the town you're from has lots of palm trees

Wouldn't surprise me if you told me you've seen cops push someone who was naked out of the way to write a parking ticket.

From what I hear, the cops pretty much let anything fly, but are super hard on anything traffic or car related.

Funny part about that old 'law' was the suggestion that the fines should increase with the offender's weight. Old guys on the beach in banana hammocks could provide a serious boost to the state's economy in such a scenario, although it appears this little piece of fascism was directed at women. Figures.

yes. my girlfriend got a ticket for wearing them, the police told her it's illegal. they said the standard uniform in sf is to dress like an eskimo because of the year-round 50 degree weather.

Well, cops don't write parking tickets here. That's left to little trolls in go-carts.

I get your point, though. I have seen naked men masturbating in front of police, with no ticket issued (it would be for the lewd conduct, not the nudity) but countless tickets issued for parking violations.

I think my problem is I have a 'looks like this guy can pay' vibe about me. Otherwise, the city is all fair game.
