I love San francisco and am going to spend a couple months driving up the coast. I'm going to stay in ad for a month. does anyone know any nice weekly or monthly rental in sf or pacifica where I can stay with my dog and go for road bike rides and surf. I lived in sf on California and jones for a year ten years ago and I love the city. I don't want a homeless hotel or anything just something maybe $400 or less a week for a home base to explore the area. Thanks for your local knowledge.

I tried that but it was either super expensive executive style or a room. I even saw someone wanted to share their bedroom!

Several years ago I rented a small furnished studio apt. on a monthly basis on Pine Street not from far Chinatown, Nob Hill & the Financial District in a building that all the apts. were rented that way (to temporary tenants).
