Tom Brady doesn't want to meet Aldon Smith in the backfield. But Aldon would very much like to greet Tom, in his own special way.

Interesting thing is, the Pats played the Texans and 49ers back to back, against JJ Watt and Aldon Smith, back to back games against the top 2 sack leaders, and neither Watt nor Smith had a sack. Watt was credited with a half a sack in the playoff game against the Pats though.

So no one watched the game? I'm not a Niners fan, but happy for them making the Super Bowl.

Two guys stood out here.

Defense-Patrick Willis with 11 tackles.

Offense-Kaerpernick-16 for 21 for 233 yards.

Though they got down 17-0 Harbaugh didn't panic. They slowly but methodically were taking what was available to them.

I knew that Colin Kaepernick was going to be the real deal. I remember the game he and Nevada had against Boise State a couple years ago. I've been watching NFL ball since Methuselah (lol), and this guy has athletic skills and a half. The coaching staff was questioned by a slew of NFL talking heads when Colin became the starter but I felt the 49ers knew what they were doing.

Good luck to the 49ers in New Orleans in a couple weeks!

Well, we didn't recruit him here at Fresno State and he definitely wore us out because of it.

I've seen a few NFL ready quarterbacks here and he definitely impressed me.

Good on the kid from the valley.
