Better wish "the other team" does well because beating them in a BART Series would be the sickest burn, and vice versa.

Meh...I'd rather the A's get revenge on the Reds for what happened the following year than repeat the 1989 beatdown. I guess we'll see how all that shakes out after the division series'.

Can't have enough walk-offs or pies. Billy Bean still trying to drain the beer out of his ears.

Let's Go Oak-land! [clap, clap, clap-clap-clap]

Tue and Wed were damn amazing at the Coliseum, it has been so long since I've seen it like that and been there. Yeah a new stadium in a better location would be great but if you're a lifelong A's fan and you've been going to the Coliseum your whole life that place has a ton of memories. Considering how scrappy this team is and how no one believed in them I feel it was fitting for them to win in the Coliseum.

I really hope they do take down the tarps or at least a few sections. A lot of A's fans are working class and while our tickets are still cheaper than the Giants a lot of fans I bet will still have trouble affording them I feel.

I went to the Sat game with the 3-run walk off homer, the game Tue, and yesterday. Three of the best games I've been to all year and I've been to at least 25 or so far this year. First game of the year for me was the second home game against the Mariners in an empty Coliseum on a typical chilly Oakland night. A's were trailing 1-7 at one point, almost came back and finished 6-7. BTW, it was so warm on Tue night at the Coliseum, love that type of weather; 80 degrees at least.

It's hard to describe how much I loved seeing this team win during the season. Lot of good games this season and I wish more fans were there to witness it but those that go have a ton of passion for the A's. Even with just 20K that place sounds like it has 40K in the stands and easily give AT&T a run for its money.

Hopefully they can take us all the way but I'll just take it one series at a time. Just so happy to be living in the moment right now.

What a crappy two first games. That didn't feel like "home-field advantage" to me...

Painful.

Gotta go 3-0 and face Verlander in game 5 if they wanna actually do something.

Still proud of these guys though

Gotta love winning your division and getting the "prize" of immediately going on the road to play two games to start a Best-of-Five series

I was at the game tonight and I'll be at Game 4 as well. My parents and sister were whooping and hollering and I had my cowbell going. It was wild and fun.

P.S. I hope the Reds pull it together to keep the Giants down. For an A's fan, an '89 rematch is nothing to prove. You simply cannot get better than 4-0 with the Giants only tying it for 1 half inning of Game 4.
