everytime i read something like this i think about the warriors and a team like the miami heat , mavs, or even the pistons
the warriors have more titles than teams like the heat, mavs, and knicks, and until 2005 had more titles than the pistons
a's fans bragging about the number of titles the a's have is just as absurd as a warriors fan bragging to a heat/pistons fan about how many titles the warriors have had compared to the other franchises. and me being a warriors fan since i was a kid, i know better than to ever bring up titles my favorite basketball team won 60 years ago considering how irrelevant they've been for years.

unless you're a 70 year old man you've enjoyed none of the success the A's had 40 years ago.
just like a warriors fan telling a miami heat fan about the title the warriors won in 1955 lol

some people like dwelling in the past to forget the present reality

the yankees have 0 titles this decade, so clearly the Giants are the better franchise overall

give me a break. Giants fans are the first ones to point out their 'storied success' in NY before moving to SF in the 50s.

And some just have an appreciation of history. Then again, I'm a Warriors fan as well as a Giants fan Been one pretty much all my life. Never much cared for the Kings, even when they were doing well and I can't stand them now.

What the hell are you talking about? The GOLDEN STATE Warriors only have ONE title and two if you count their days on Philly. The Miami Heat have two, Dallas one, and the Pistons have THREE. And ALL of the Pistons titles were before 2005 too. You don't even recognize the history with your own Giants so please spare us this bizarre diatribe on NBA history because you clearly don't have your facts straight. Were you even paying attention to the NBA finals in June? Because if you did you would have noticed Wade winning his SECOND championship as a Heat player.

I've never heard of Warriors fans brag about how many titles they ever have and rightfully so and I have A LOT of diehard Warriors friends. I've NEVER heard a fans of a team brag about having one title except San Francisco GIANTS fans.

You don't have to be 40 years old to remember the A's title in 1989 and their three CONSECUTIVE world series appearances from 88-90. I remember that era.

The only reason the Giants don't like the A's bringing up their history is because they don't have any history like that of their own and just have their recent success to cling to. Yet that doesn't stop Giants fans from celebrating their history with players like Mays, McCovey, Bonds, etc.. So it's alright for the Giants to celebrate their history with players but not okay for the A's to do it with their Championships? Nice double standard there.

Also if we are including ALL franchise titles from all cities, which you did with the Warriors, then the A's have NINE, third most in MLB.

Just one more win. These 2-0 victories are tense, but Detroit's not even trying!

Sacramento has equal parts A’s and Giants fans, slight edge to the A’s, but some really loyal Giants fans too.

I know some A’s fan in Sacramento that refuse to watch the World Series just because the Giants are in it.
