Anyway, there are tons of really great housing developments right there in that immediate neighborhood. If they had 5-6 bedroom units I would probably live downtown.

your earlier quote is below. the man was not robbed and the incident occured in 2010.
i highlighted the not true aspects.

"An elderly chinese man was robbed and killed there last summer."

i suppose we can expect the customary posts where you insist you were right despite being blatantly wrong.

If you're working for Insight Center for Community you will be pleasantly surprised with the neighborhood you will be working in. 2201 Broadway is an old art deco building that is now full of non-profits that is owned by Mitch Kapor, a Philantropist.

You're only going to be one block away from a set of stairs (in front of the Paramount Theater) for the 19th Street BART Station.

That's a great building, I know several people that work there. Enjoy!

It gets a little sketchy around 24th and Telegraph, and in between (in transition) area at night.

Lots of good lunch options nearby.

Most people I know who live in that building live in North Oakland (Piedmont Ave, Temescal, Rockridge.) And a few others live in areas like Montclair and Glenview, depending on their life stage. A handful live in downtown/old oakland/uptown.
