But is the BBQ good?

I am serious I don't think there is one single place out here that does BBQ correctly. I gave up looking over a year ago and I tried many places.

The Whole Foods in Cupertino is the only place I could find decent smoked BBQ! And then it is a hit or miss with them...but it is usually good.

This place was rated very high http://www.gorillabbq.com/ It was meh but the side items were not even fit for a dog. YUCK!

I like gorilla BBQ, another good place it emergency BBQ in san carlos, though it is more grill than smoke.

Texas BBQ in San Jose has good ribs... can't vouch for anything else. You have to order them by the slab though (they save the best for the slabs)

The one place none of y'all have named is Mack's BBQ in San Carlos on Laurel... that used to be my go-to place for ribs on the Peninsula. Their hours are ever-changing but when they're open they're easily the best BBQ on the peninsula.

I have had Mack's a few times. I find their pulled meats to be very very greasy. Though I have not had their ribs.
