no,the reason fewer expensive sports cars are seen in san francisco and oakland/berkeley is some jerk is more likely to KEY your expensive sports car in san francisco and oakland/berkeley than in the suburbs that's $3000+ every time some idiot does it.

I don't even consider that crap in pleasanton and danville but i sure am when i am going out in san francisco and oakland.

That'se because they both are much poorer than the Bay Area. It's wealthy areas are very flashy and materialistic.

This is a joke right? You're seriously going to try to sell me that the Ozark has "INFINITELY" higher quality of life than the bay area? The place where drugs and meth runs wild with poor folks and no jobs? You enjoy your Ozarks ok? Don't you worry I won't be living there in my life time to contribute to the scary possibility of overpopulation.

Actually, I think I'm changing my opinion. I think L.A and Miami are more materialistic, but the Bay Area is more smug and self-centered.

This is the place where hipster geeks in Uptown Oakland think they are helping out poor people by buying $10 beers on Friday night "by supporting the economy".

Those house wive shows of OC and Beverly Hills probably give all of Cali a bad name.

Having lived in Southern California for 2+ decades, I would say that parts of SoCal (especially OC, the westside, Beverly Hills, the beach cities, Calabasas, etc) are much more materialistic. Of course, parts of the Bay Area are, but I think SoCal has us beat in this regard.

quality of life is very subjective.
the things i value:world class museums, symphony and theatre.
michillen starred dining
sexual ,race and religous tolerance
schools that teach evolution and not creationism

would mean a low quality of life in missouri for me

I have to agree with this. SoCal takes the cake.

Funny thing is, a lot of those women are actually broke. Homes in foreclosure, lots of debt, etc.
